Suspended emotions in nature
An experience of emotional growth through art and connection with nature
“Beauty has the power to evoke in us the strongest and most immediate sensations, both physical and emotional. Imbued with the emotions born of these sensations, our being is drawn to the presence of beauty and instinctively moves toward it. In doing so, it heads in a certain direction. Now, as soon as our existence takes a direction, it takes on meaning. And when that direction leads to a state of harmony and communion—in other words, a state of love, as in the case of beauty—our existence reaches its highest meaning, because that is when it beckons to true life; and true life, in turn, beckons to beauty.”

- Summer 2026
This initiative was created with the aim of providing a conscious break from the daily routine. It is an invitation to slow down and experience the moment with calm and mindfulness. Through a “slow motion” experience, Chillida Leku offers a space for self-care, mindfulness, and inner connection, fostering moments of self-reflection and shared well-being.
María Ollo and Zuri Uriarte will guide us on this journey toward physical, emotional, and social well-being through activities that allow us to reconnect with ourselves, with others, and with our surroundings. Nature and the sculptures of Eduardo Chillida become a central element of the process, serving as a source of inspiration, balance, and aesthetic sensitivity.

María Ollo | She is a personal development coach with a background in social work and family therapy. She advises and supports people in developing their emotional well-being. She promotes initiatives focused on the field of holistic well-being. Her work is undoubtedly centered on viewing people and the development of their emotional well-being as drivers of global change. In 2021, the first edition of the Guía Conecta, which she co-authored, was published.
Zuri Uriarte | "I like to draw—anything, with whatever I have on hand, and on any surface. I’m interested in presenting nature on materials I come across and on recycled paper. And I paint trees on wood to somehow return them to the place where they once stood. I started studying Fine Arts in Bilbao and then moved to Barcelona to study Graphic Design at the Eina University School. I’ve worked as a freelance designer, and after a few years dedicated solely to the fashion industry, I’ve come full circle".
