Sombras al trote y al galope is a contemporary dance performance celebrating the summer solstice. Conceived as a contemporary ritual, the dance unfolds at Chillida Leku, transforming the space into a living territory of creation and experimentation. Artists and community members traverse the museum to bring it to life, as each gesture and movement becomes inscribed in the landscape and in the memory of the place. The process seeks to preserve dance as a living practice and to generate scores and materials that can be brought to life again by new generations and bodies.
The show also displays the work carried out through workshops with the Hernani’s community, as part of Inés Aubert’s Imaginarios posibles (Possible imaginaries) project, in which citizen participation becomes an active part of the creative process. These activities aim to bring together different groups and artists, fostering a collaborative and diverse ecosystem.

The museum parking lot has limited spaces, so we will be running a shuttle bus from the Galarreta parking lot and the Errekalde bus stop.

Artists
Inés Aubert | Dancer and creator (Costa Rica–Iruña), her work focuses on the body, community, the heart, the exploration of movement, and reflection on the arts. She has worked across—and continues to work across—various artistic disciplines: choreography, mediation, and performance. She is the founder of the Colectivo Rescoldos, with which she has developed various creative processes that connect dance with the community. She currently develops artistic projects with various collectives, designing and facilitating Imaginarios posibles (Possible imaginaries), a space for collective creation.
Myriam Pérez Cazabon | A dancer, choreographer, and teacher, she completed her advanced studies in contemporary dance at CODARTS (Rotterdam). Since 2004, she has worked as a choreographer, performer, and teacher in the field of contemporary dance, where she is known for her interest in intertwining her choreographic exploration with various artistic disciplines such as music, sound art, theater, film, photography, visual arts, and literature. Driven by personal interests and the need to delve deeper into her own choreographic language, she began her personal career as a creator in 2016. In 2026, she received support from Dantzaz as an Artista Faro, as a step toward establishing herself in this field.
Tartar Kolektiboa | Tartar Kolektiboa, formed by dancer Jone Amezaga and musician Manu Gaigne, brings together similar artistic interests and a desire to reflect on and explore interdisciplinarity. This collaboration began with the creative studio “Zerbait.Noizbat.Nonbait,” and in 2022 they premiered *Remedios Vals*, a musical and dance piece designed for the street or unconventional spaces. They also wrote a score for this piece, attempting to delve into the world of musical notation from a transdisciplinary perspective. For both, the search for a common theatrical language is a form of maturation and horizontal, collective creation.
DJBihotza | DJBihotza began performing in 2005 with the goal of creating a dialogue with the dance floor, sensing its energy, and promoting the values fostered within the club and electronic music communities through “Social Electronic Music.” She is an excellent DJ whose style ranges from darkwave, chung, minimal, rave, slow techno, and progressive… She is currently a resident DJ at Jimmy Jazz in Gasteiz with HEARTz Club (for 10 seasons) and at the Bilbao club Stereorocks (Bilbao Café Antzokia) through 2025. She is a regular on the clubbing scene in the Basque Country, such as at Dabadaba (Donostia-San Sebastián), and collaborates with various collectives and venues in the contemporary Basque scene. Bihotza has launched HEARTz, a project comprising Club, Family, and Radio, which explores the concept of “Social Electronic Music” through various venues and initiatives. It works to promote the values it believes in—equality, visibility, inclusion, and respect—while highlighting the importance of electronic music within contemporary culture.
