Geometric bodies
Eduardo Chillida. Larry Bell. Nora Aurrekoetxea

Geometric bodies offers a journey through the work of Eduardo Chillida from an unusual perspective: an exploration of geometric forms in his sculpture. The exhibition focuses on two fundamental forms, the sphere and the square, and shows how the artist incorporated them organically throughout his career. Far from rigid or strictly Euclidean geometry, Chillida explored these essential forms through his investigation of space, matter and void.

As a new feature, the exhibition includes works by two contemporary artists that enrich the interpretation of his legacy and forge new connections with his work. A glass sculpture by Larry Bell, whose exploration of light, transparency and perception engages with the spatial concerns present in Chillida’s work, whilst aulki bat, by Nora Aurrekoetxea, invites us to establish new relationships between body and object.
