Summer camps in Chillida Leku

This summer we already have plans at Chillida Leku. At our summer camp we invite you to discover art from the inside, at your own pace and in your own way. We believe, like Eduardo Chillida, that the most important thing is not to know everything, but to ask yourself good questions and have the desire to explore. For five days we will immerse ourselves in his world, experimenting with his ideas and his way of creating: we will talk about space, light, nature and emotions, all through creative and fun activities.

Each day will be a different adventure: we will make collages, models, shadow games, large format drawings, ephemeral sculptures... and we will go out into the park to observe, smell, touch and think. You don't need to know about art, just come with curiosity and a desire to have fun. The idea is to discover that art can be a way of looking at the world - and also of understanding ourselves a little better.

Anabel Varona and Carlos Arruti from Maushaus will lead the workshops. They have been bringing architecture and art closer to different audiences for years through activities where creativity, play and critical thinking are the protagonists. Their way of teaching is based on exploring, imagining and building together, always based on experience, play and respect for the environment. With them, the museum is transformed into a living space where anything can happen.
