Alianza cultural entre Centro Botín, el Museo de Bellas Artes de Bilbao, Chillida Leku, Museo Universidad de Navarra

Cultural collaboration agreement between Chillida Leku, Museo Universidad de Navarra, Centro Botín y el Museo de Bellas Artes de Bilbao

Chillida Leku is part of a cultural network formed by four leading institutions in northern Spain: the Museo Universidad de Navarra (MUN), Centro Botín, the Bilbao Fine Arts Museum, and our museum in Hernani. This alliance aims to promote the enjoyment and appreciation of contemporary art, making access to exhibitions, collections, and cultural activities easier across all venues.

One of the key initiatives is a shared admission system: visitors who present a ticket from any of the other three museums will receive a 20% discount on general admission. In addition, members of the Friends programmes of any of the participating institutions will benefit from a 30% discount.

In 2025, the MUN celebrates its tenth anniversary with free admission for all visitors, thanks to support from the Pamplona City Council. As a gesture of appreciation, each visitor will receive a complimentary book, chosen from the museum's wide range of publications.

This cultural partnership also fosters new connections between institutions. Centro Botín in Santander, for instance, offers a programme focused on emotions and creativity, while the Bilbao Fine Arts Museum is currently undergoing a major expansion project led by Norman Foster, set to open in 2026.

At Chillida Leku, we see this collaboration as an opportunity to create synergies, reach wider audiences, and actively contribute to the cultural ecosystem of the north. We invite visitors to explore this network of institutions united by their shared commitment to art, education, and community.
