On the occasion of the inclusion of aulki bat by Nora Aurrekoetxea in the exhibition Geometric Bodies, the Zabalaga Farmhouse will host the presentation of the book Lora Bat. Nora Aurrekoetxea Etxebarria. The event will take the form of a conversation between the artist and Susana González, director of the FMJJ Art Center in A Coruña and editor of the monograph, produced in collaboration with Turner Publishing.

Lora Bat. Nora Aurrekoetxea Etxebarria is a monograph that offers a comprehensive overview of the artist’s trajectory, articulating the central themes of her practice. The publication approaches a body of work rooted in a sculptural understanding of installation as a relational space—a system in which unforeseen dialogues of interdependence arise between objects, space, and bodies, generating multiple layers of meaning. Her work explores the tensions between language, emotion, and action, using the instability of narratives as a structural principle.

The publication includes a conversation and correspondence with Sonia Fernández Pan (Letter to Nora Aurrekoetxea), as well as notes by the artist herself. The volume is complemented by the essays Textura continua [Continuous Texture] by Leire Vergara and Porque no quiero molestar [Because I Don’t Want to Disturb] by Susana González, which offer different critical and poetic approaches to her practice.
