Family art workshop - Geometric bodies

What happens when a circle ceases to be a drawing and becomes a three-dimensional form? How can a square occupy space and become a sculpture? Drawing inspiration from the works in the exhibition Geometric Bodies, we will have the opportunity to explore the organic geometry inherent in Chillida’s works. 

During the tour, we will discover how the artist transformed basic geometric shapes into sculptures that create space and interact with light and emptiness. In the workshop, we will start with drawing to experience the transition from two to three dimensions, building volumes and structures that allow us to understand geometry through direct experience.
