Tailer partehartzailea 'Walls into Porous Boundaries'

This activity is part of the Urban Fauna Resort project, an open call for the creation of art installations that serve as refuges for insects in the parks of Donostia. Architect Nekane Azpiazu will lead this workshop, which focuses on reflecting on how we interact with the living beings that inhabit our cities, in collaboration with the team of biologists from Aranzadi.

Her work Walls into Porous Boundaries, the winning project in the call for proposals, is a porous wall that seeks to connect the urban with the natural and allows different species to inhabit it, with the goal of imagining more sensitive forms of coexistence.

Urban Fauna Resort is a collaboration between the Aranzadi Society of Sciences and the Chillida Leku Museum, and is part of the Biartekomugi project—a transformative experience that combines science, art, technology, active mobility, and citizen participation.
