Chillida Leku presents Maeght Universe exhibition

This coming 2 December, Chillida Leku will open Maeght Universe to the public, an exhibition offering a dialogue between the works of Eduardo Chillida and some of the artists with which famed dealer Aimé Maeght and his wife Marguerite worked. The exhibition will bring outstanding works from Georges Braque, Alexander Calder, Alberto Giacometti, Pablo Palazuelo, Julio González, Jean Arp, Barbara Hepworth, Antoni Tàpies, Joan Miró, and Marc Chagall to the museum.

This is the first international-scale collection to be shown at Chillida Leku, and is part of the programming to celebrate the centennial of Eduardo Chillida's birth.
The initiative comes as a tribute to the Maeght Foundation in Saint-Paul-de-Vence, showing the work of artists that shared an air of creation, utopia, and freedom that wast felt at the Foundation, particularly in the summer when the location welcomed all kinds of cultural events.
