Perceptio - Meditative intervention Vol. III
Breaths & Beats (Sara Ojambarrena)
- Summer 2025
Breaths & Beats offers a meditative intervention through breathwork to explore consciousness, challenge logical thinking, and sculpt our perception.
Ecstatic Breath is a dynamic breathing practice that combines conscious breathing with neuroscience. It is an experience that allows us to naturally reach expanded states of consciousness, recalibrate the nervous system, and explore our inner world. The practice combines ancient techniques of rhythmic breathing with controlled breath-holding pauses (apnea) and an electronic/experimental music set to deepen the experience alongside guided meditation.
The practice aims to train and acquire expanded states of consciousness where we can listen to the subconscious, creative voice and expand our fields of perception while releasing mental conditioning and connecting with the essence naturally. The meditative state we reach deactivates logical thinking, releases inner strength, and reprograms habits and systems.
Practical Information
The session is conducted comfortably on the floor, either lying down or sitting, allowing each participant to connect with their intimate space for practice. It is recommended to avoid eating or consuming stimulants at least one hour before the session and to stay well-hydrated (preferably with non-stimulating beverages) to be more receptive.
The practice is entirely safe, but in some cases, it can be intense and is not recommended for pregnant individuals, those with recent surgeries, glaucoma, specific medical disorders such as epilepsy or heart diseases, or those in fragile mental states.
